Spiritual:

Mopping with Your Pearls On

Mopping with your Pearls On with Edie Hand and Martha Bolton celebrates the indomitable spirit of women. Forget multi-tasking. Today's woman is a multi-survivor! By the time she reaches menopause, she may have survived cancer, the death of her parents, a spouse, or other close family members, the loss of a job, a career or dream, the loss of a marriage, and has made more than her share of mistakes. Edie and Martha will share the secrets of "mopping with your pearls on". With inspiring and humorous stories from their own lives and careers' these two women will share what they've learned about the importance of keeping a positive attitude when life falls apart around you. The "life pearls" that Edie and Martha talk about include:

White Pearls (Starting Over) "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:19

Yellow Pearls(Stains Aren't Forever) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." 2 Corinthians 5:17

Pink Pearls (Live, Laugh, Love) "Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea happy is that people, whose God is the LORD." Psalm 144: 15

Silver Pearls (Pearls of wisdom) "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." James 1:5 give us a heart of wisdom." Psalm 90:1

Gold Pearls (Standing the Test of Time) "Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. " (Psalm 62:5-8)

How to Build a stronger Business & a better relationship with the ABCs of Selling with Etiquette

More than ever before, success in business relies on relationships. Developing the right relationships requires understanding of person to person communication. Yet, most people have never been taught good business manners. Businessman Dale Brakhage joins Edie in presenting the ABC format. The beauty of this concept is twofold. The familiarity encourages audience engagement and keeps the program moving in the right direction. After distractions, you can really easily get right back on track. The concepts remain the same, but the content changes to meet the group's interests. We talk about the audience issues that assure participation and good reviews in understanding the alphabetic basic concepts of selling. What do parents, politicians, teachers, preachers, and lawyers share in common with salespeople? They all persuade others to accept their ideas with a bit of charm and confidence. These manners will sell more in this less economy. Join us in learning how to sell anything!

From Graceland to God's Amazing Grace: Edie Hand Story

The way I see it, a southern girl's life is about the four M's: Mentors, Men, Manners, and Money. Ladies north of the Mason Dixon line might see life a little different but no matter where you are from geographically, you must learn to seize every opportunity. Edie understands trials and triumphs as a three time cancer survivor. She knows how to learn lessons from ones faith, family, and friends. Edie tries to take the best qualities of those around her and turn it into positive projections. Hey, she grew up knowing where to get a Cadillac , cause her cousin, Elvis Presley, was the King of Rock N' Roll. She is an ordinary lady that has been privileged to live an extraordinary life through God's amazing grace. Psalms 37:4 Delight in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of your heart. You'll enjoy her southern charm of story telling. Her story just might be your story too.

Edie knows how to share the art of living!

LESSONS FROM LEGENDS

With Edie Hand and Martha Bolton

What can we learn from legends? Edie Hand (cousin of Elvis Presley) and Martha Bolton (staff writer for Bob Hope) believe there's plenty. And they want to share these lessons that they've learned first hand from watching the legends in their lives. With personal photographs, behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and perhaps even an impersonation or two, this special program is the perfect entertainment choice for your business, community or church group, or cruise lecture.

There will also be video clips of others who will share what they've learned from the legends in their lives, and at some events, additional special surprise guests will be invited to share their memories live. Speakers such as Louise Harrison (sister of George Harrison of the Beatles), Mary Eisenhower, granddaughter of President Dwight Eisenhower and Terre Thomas, daughter of Danny Thomas are just some of the additional participants of Lessons from Legends. Each show will have Edie, Martha, and at least one other speaker sharing their memories, as well as plenty of personal photos and video clips. Lessons from Legends is a brand new live and unique program which gives audience members an exciting and entertaining behind-the-scenes look at these wonderful and talented legends and what they have taught us. There is also a possible book, Lessons from Legends, and a possible television special or series. Stay Tuned!
