Foundation Charities

In an effort to pay it forward and leave a legacy for community involvement, Edie founded the Edie Hand Foundation after the loss of her three young brothers and her own three battles with cancer.


Her foundation helps to benefit The Children’s Hospital of Alabama and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She has been seen in more than 14 million homes every Sunday on the RFD-TV/FamilyNet/Rural TV show Rx for Healthy Lifestyles. The main goal is to give back to the community and to encourage acts of kindness and generosity all around her.

The non-profit organization (5013C foundation) contributes not only funds but many volunteer hours to help out in hospitals, participate in local and regional events such as the Edie Hand Celebrity Golf Tournament to help special needs children, and seasonal television specials. In addition to those efforts events are held separately or in conjunction with other organizations to raise money and awareness of the foundation efforts.


The Edie Hand Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 foundation so that means contributions may be eligible for tax deductions. We invite you to make a donation to the Foundation to show your support for all the good work they do in our local community, around the country, and now around the world.
