What does it mean to be a Women of True Grit?

The Women of True Grit Brand is perfectly timed and represents a unique opportunity for anyone seeking to help empower, encourage, and educate women. We believe all women can find the strength to embrace who they are, navigate their direction in life, and possess the potential to impact themselves and those within their communities and beyond. Women of True Grit stories have a recurring theme that highlights great resilience and its transformative power. We strive to reach women through sharing stories of hope and lessons of life to push through hard things and find beautiful situations. The mission of the Edie Hand Foundation is to help people and communities in need to make life better for others Edie understands great loss after losing her 3 young brothers in separate tragic situations from ages 19, 23, and 46 .The Blackburn boys' lives cut short changed her path and life, working to have empathy to help the broken know they are not alone.
